The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, creator of Bitcoin (BTC), is a topic that seems to have no expiration in the crypto market. Now, Leah McGrath Goodman assures that she remains confident about the true identity behind the pseudonym.

Dorian Nakamoto as the founder of Bitcoin
To give them context, in 2014, a Newsweek columnist named Leah McGrath published a story under the name „The Face Behind Bitcoin.

At the time, McGrath claimed that a retired American physicist named Dorian Nakamoto was the person behind Satoshi Nakamoto.

Even McGrath surprised Dorian Nakamoto along with two police witnesses. When asked about Bitcoin, Dorian said he was no longer involved and could not argue about it.

However, shortly thereafter, Dorian told the audience that he felt he was a victim and that he had misunderstood Goodman’s questions. Clearly, this dismissed the article published by Goodman and even caused discomfort in the crypto community.

Who is Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto?

Goodman does not retract the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto
Despite Dorian Nakamoto’s multiple denials to the media that he was Satoshi Nakamoto, Leah McGrath steadfastly refused to abandon his investigation.

In this regard, on August 25 she appeared on Pomp Podcast with Anthony Pompliano, where she revealed details of her investigation.

The journalist revealed that, after making her first public appearance, she realized that it was very naive to think that it was just one person.

„There is a lot more and it is not specific to Dorian alone, and I think we all knew that. It wasn’t satisfying to focus on just one person, there’s definitely more, and I hope I can share that,“ he said during the conversation.

However, despite realizing that Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity is more of a group, he still believes that Dorian Nakamoto is involved.

So, with respect to Dorian’s allegation that he did not understand the journalist’s question, McGrath noted that „he definitely knew that we were talking about that – we had been talking about that for weeks before I physically visited him.

He also noted that among the evidence pointing to Dorian is an IP address that matches Dorian’s neighborhood in Los Angeles, California.

McGrath explains that, before the launch, „there was a failed file with Hal Finney“ that led to Finney accidentally posting the data on a forum, and from that, „an IP address was obtained that led us to the same neighborhood where Dorian lives, in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity remains a mystery to the crypto community, and McGrath seems determined to find it.
